Gas detectors of the DG/MR series – reliable protection against refrigerant leaks
The DG-6R7/MR gas detectors are advanced devices designed for continuous monitoring of the presence of refrigerants, including freons, in various rooms. They use an optical sensor (Infra-Red) for precise gas concentration measurement, ensuring fast and reliable detection of potential hazards. These devices are used in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities, where ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards is crucial.
Design and functionality
The DG/MR detectors are characterized by a modular design, meaning the sensor module can be easily replaced if necessary. This allows for quick maintenance, simplified calibration, and reduced operating costs. Communication is via an RS-485 port with MODBUS RTU protocol, allowing integration with monitoring and control systems. Two built-in relays with NO/NC outputs allow direct control of alarm devices or ventilation systems. Additionally, the detector has a built-in optical indicator informing about exceeding alarm thresholds.
Application and benefits
This detector model is particularly useful in places where there is a risk of leakage of R410A or R32 refrigerants. Thanks to the high sensitivity of the IR sensor and the ability to set two alarm thresholds, the detector provides effective protection against the accumulation of hazardous gas concentrations. The replaceable sensor design allows the device to be adapted to specific application needs and minimizes service costs. The detector is powered by 24V= and has compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm), making it easy to install in various locations. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements.
