Gas detector DG-7KL3/N hydrogen (selective), calibration 10/30 %LEL, catalytic sensor
Gas detectors of the DG/F series are devices designed to monitor the concentration of hazardous substances in industrial and enclosed spaces. Equipped with replaceable sensor modules with two alarm thresholds, they allow for precise detection of explosive, toxic gases and oxygen. The DG-7KL3/N model, with a catalytic sensor, is dedicated to the selective measurement of hydrogen.
The detector design allows cooperation with various control modules, such as MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8 and MDP-16. However, it should be remembered that these detectors have a standard construction and cannot be used in areas at risk of explosion from gases or dust.
It is worth paying attention to several key features of this device:
- Replaceable sensor: Enables quick and economical calibration or repair of the detector, as well as model change if necessary.
- Optical signaling: Built-in LED lamp informs about the operating status of the device.
- Splash-proof housing: Provides protection against moisture (IP44 in the recommended mounting position).
- Modularity: Facilitates the design and installation of a gas detection system.
- Calibration: All detectors are calibrated in their own laboratory of GAZEX accredited in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation no. AP150).
- Measurement range: The catalytic sensor in the DG-7KL3/N model is calibrated to measure hydrogen in the range of 10/30 %LEL (with the possibility of extension to 50% LEL).
The DG-7KL3/N detector finds application wherever there is a risk of hydrogen leakage – from laboratories and production plants to hydrogen-powered vehicle refueling stations. Its selectivity ensures reliable measurements even in the presence of other gases. The device is powered by an external system and is characterized by compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm). It is important to remember to calibrate the detector regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure its proper operation and safety of use.
