Gas detectors – reliable protection and control
The DG-8R/MR-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in various environments. It utilizes proven infrared (IR) measurement technology, ensuring precise and reliable results. This detector is a key element of gas detection systems, offering optical alarm signaling, built-in relays, and the ability to integrate with a central supervisory module via the RS-485 network.
Application and functionality
The device finds application in industrial plants, logistics centers, public utility facilities, and anywhere where CO2 concentration control is necessary. Thanks to the replaceable sensor module, the detector is easy to maintain and calibrate, which translates to lower operating costs. The DG/MR detector is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Construction and operating parameters
The DG-8R/MR-Nstd detector is characterized by a solid construction and high reliability. It has two alarm thresholds or measurement mode, as well as two built-in relays with NO/NC contact. Communication is via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling easy integration with existing control systems. 24V DC power supply ensures stable device operation. The detector dimensions are 110 x 140 x 55 mm, allowing for its discreet mounting. The sensor is replaceable and compatible with DG/F and DG/P models, increasing system flexibility. Additionally, the detector has a thermal compensation system and alarm status history for full control over the monitoring process. Thanks to screwless terminals, installation is quick and convenient.
Calibration and compliance with standards
GAZEX detectors are factory calibrated in a Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. Calibration on request <5 %v/v ensures precise measurement even at low carbon dioxide concentrations.
