Carbon dioxide detector – reliable air quality monitoring
The DG-8R/N-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in premises. It utilizes proven optical sensor technology (IR), ensuring precise and reliable measurements. The device is particularly useful in places where control of CO2 levels is crucial for safety and comfort, such as industrial premises, offices, schools, greenhouses, or ventilation systems.
Precision and calibration flexibility
The DG-8R/N-Nstd detector stands out for its ability to be calibrated to order for a range of up to 5% by volume (v/v). This means that the device can be adapted to specific application requirements, ensuring optimal measurement accuracy in a given environment. Calibration is performed in the GAZEX’s own Calibrating Laboratory, accredited according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the highest quality and reliability of measurements.
Design and application
The DG-8R/N-Nstd detector belongs to the DG/F series – threshold, system gas detectors from GAZEX. These devices are designed to work with MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4 and MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 control modules. The detector's design allows for easy integration with existing gas monitoring systems. It is important to remember that due to its conventional design, the detector should not be used in areas at risk of gas or dust explosions.
- Replaceable sensor module: Enables quick and inexpensive sensor replacement or calibration without the need to replace the entire device.
- Optical signaling: Built-in optical signaling informs about the detector's operating status and exceeding the set alarm thresholds.
- Splash-proof housing: Provides protection against moisture and dirt (IP44), which increases the durability of the device even in harsh working conditions.
- Modularity: Simplified design and ease of connections translate into quick assembly and commissioning of the gas detection system.
- Power supply from the system: The detector is powered from the control system, eliminating the need for additional power sources.
The DG-8R/N-Nstd detector finds application everywhere where monitoring of carbon dioxide concentration is necessary – from industry to public buildings and agriculture. Its precision and reliability make it an ideal solution for demanding applications.
