Gas detector DG-A14/N
Gas Detectors DG/A – Reliable Protection for Installations
Gas detectors of the DG/A series are advanced devices designed to detect hazardous concentrations of toxic, explosive gases, oxygen, or refrigerants. Equipped with a 4-20 mA interface, they are ideal for integration with alarm and control modules, providing comprehensive protection in various industrial and enclosed environments. The splash-proof design (IP44) ensures reliable operation even under harsh conditions.
Versatility and Flexible Application
DG/A detectors feature interchangeable intelligent sensors, enabling easy adaptation to different requirements and media. Available models include semiconductor, electrochemical, and optical (Infra-Red) sensors, allowing precise measurement across a wide range of gases. The option to equip the device with a mechanical guard (AR-1) protects against mechanical damage, while the DG/w version is specifically designed for installation in ventilation ducts.
Key Features and Benefits
- Interchangeable Sensor: Enables quick and cost-effective replacement of a damaged sensor or adaptation to a different medium.
- 4-20 mA Interface: Ensures seamless integration with existing control and alarm systems.
- Two Alarm Thresholds: Allows setting two independent warning levels, enhancing safety.
- Splash-Proof Housing (IP44): Protects the device against moisture and dust, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
- Expandability: Option to add a mechanical guard or duct-mounted housing increases detector functionality.
- Calibration: All detectors are calibrated in an accredited GAZEX laboratory (PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025, accreditation PCA No. AP150), guaranteeing measurement accuracy.
- Wide Application Range: Ideal for monitoring methane (CH₄), carbon monoxide (CO), refrigerants (R32, R410A), and other toxic or explosive gases.
Model DG-A14/N Specifications
The DG-A14/N model is a detector designed for detecting methane (CH4) with a measurement range of 10/30/(40)% LEL. It features standard alarm thresholds set at 10% and 30% LEL, and a supply voltage compatible with control systems. The device is compact (dimensions: 110 x 153 x 60 mm) and easy to install. Note: DG/A detectors are not suitable for use in areas classified as explosive hazardous zones for gases, vapors, or dusts—they are standard construction devices.
