Gas detector DG-A14/N-Nstd – reliable methane detection

The DG-A14/N-Nstd gas detector is a system device designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in enclosed spaces. Equipped with a replaceable, intelligent semiconductor gas sensor, it provides precise measurement and a quick response to hazards. This detector is powered by the system and offers a passive 4-20 mA interface, facilitating integration with existing alarm and control systems, such as MDP modules.

Functionality and application

The DG-A14/N-Nstd device finds application wherever methane monitoring is necessary – from gas installations, through boiler rooms, to industrial areas. Its splash-proof housing (IP44 in the recommended mounting position) protects against adverse environmental conditions. The possibility of attaching a mechanical guard AR-1 increases resistance to mechanical damage, which is particularly important in places exposed to vandalism or accidental impacts.

This detector is characterized by two programmable alarm thresholds and the ability to optically signal exceeding the upper measurement range of the sensor. This allows the user to be informed of potential hazards in real-time. Removable terminals allow easy connection of single- and multi-strand wires without the need for ferrules.
