Chlorine Dioxide Gas Detector – Reliable Monitoring and Safety
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of chlorine dioxide concentration in the air. It is a crucial solution in places where the presence of this gas may pose a threat to health or technological processes. The device utilizes an advanced electrochemical sensor, providing precise measurements and a quick response to changes in concentration.
Application and functionality
The DG-P0E.CLO2/M detector finds application in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities where there is a risk of chlorine dioxide emissions. Its main task is to monitor the gas level and alarm when permissible norms are exceeded. Thanks to RS-485 communication with the MODBUS RTU protocol, the detector can be integrated with a digital gas detection system, enabling central supervision and management.
- Fast response: Short gas permeation time through the sensor cover ensures an almost instantaneous reaction to changes in concentration.
- Replaceable sensor: Modular design with a replaceable electrochemical sensor facilitates maintenance and reduces operating costs. If necessary, sensor replacement is simple and does not require specialized knowledge.
- Built-in microprocessor: Ensures stable and reliable operation of the device and semi-automatic addressing in the digital network without the need to open the housing.
- Thermal compensation: Built-in thermal compensation circuit minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy.
- Alarm history: The detector records a history of alarm states, which facilitates analysis of causes and prevention of future incidents.
- Easy installation: Splash-proof housing (IP44) made of high-impact ABS and two cable glands facilitate installation and connection of subsequent detectors in the system.
- Software configuration: Detector settings can be easily configured using the dedicated "DETnet View" software, available on the manufacturer's website.
Construction and parameters
The DG-P0E.CLO2/M detector has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. It utilizes advanced sensing technologies and solid construction materials. 24V= power supply ensures stable operation of the device, and compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm) allow for easy placement in various locations. It is important to remember that the device is intended for use in areas not classified as zones hazardous with explosive gases, vapors or dusts – this is a device of conventional construction. Additionally, all detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
