Gas detector DG-P0E.CLO2/MR chlorine dioxide, 1ppm (cross-calibration), electrochemical sensor
Gas detectors – reliable protection and control
Digital detectors of the DG-P/MR series are devices designed for continuous monitoring of gas concentrations in various environments – from industrial plants and logistics centers to public utility facilities. They signal exceeding permissible norms, ensuring safety and enabling quick response in emergency situations. The DG-P0E.CLO2/MR detector is dedicated to measuring chlorine dioxide (ClO2) with a sensitivity of 1 ppm, using an advanced electrochemical sensor.
Functionality and application
This detector finds application wherever there is a risk of chlorine dioxide emission, e.g. in water treatment processes, disinfection or in the chemical industry. Thanks to RS-485 communication and two relay outputs, the device can be integrated with monitoring and control systems, enabling remote monitoring and automatic activation of alarm or ventilation procedures. Built-in relays allow direct control of acoustic or visual signaling devices.
Construction and characteristic features
DG-P/MR detectors are characterized by a modular design, which facilitates sensor replacement and reduces operating costs. The replaceable sensor module allows for quick calibration and adaptation of the device to specific application needs. The device has screwless terminals to facilitate mounting and two cable glands to allow serial connection of subsequent detectors. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable and reliable operation, and the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additionally, the detector has a history of alarm states, which facilitates event analysis. Configuration of settings is done using dedicated "DETnet View" software. Detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory accredited in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation No. AP150). Please note that the device is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
