Chlorine Dioxide Detection – Safety in Industry and Beyond
The DG-P0E.CLO2/N gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of chlorine dioxide (ClO2) concentration in the air. It utilizes an advanced electrochemical sensor, providing precise measurement from 1 ppm, with cross-calibration for increased accuracy. The detector signals exceeding permissible norms, protecting the health and lives of users and preventing potential hazards in the working environment.
Application and functionality
The DG-P0E.CLO2/N detector finds wide application in various industrial facilities, laboratories, wastewater treatment plants, and in enclosed spaces where there is a risk of chlorine dioxide emissions. The device is compatible with various control and signaling systems – both those manufactured by GAZEX (MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 modules and addressable MDD-1, MDD-1/T, MDD-1x/T), as well as with control panels from other manufacturers accepting a 4-20mA signal. The 4-20mA analog output enables easy integration with existing measurement infrastructure.
Detector design and features
The DG-P0E.CLO2/N detector is distinguished by its solid construction and splash-proof housing (dimensions 110 x 140 x 55 mm), ensuring its reliability even in harsh industrial conditions. A replaceable sensor module allows for quick and economical sensor replacement in case of wear or the need for calibration. Built-in thermal and linear compensation algorithms and weighted average calculation function guarantee precise measurement results regardless of environmental conditions. Importantly – all GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which confirms their high quality and measurement reliability. This ensures that the device meets the required metrological standards.
