Gas detectors – reliable protection and control
Digital detectors of the DG-P/MR series are devices designed for continuous monitoring of gas concentrations in various spaces. The DG-P0E.O3/MR detector, equipped with an electrochemical sensor, is dedicated to measuring ozone (O3) in a range up to 1 ppm. Control is carried out by measuring the gas concentration in the surrounding air. If defined alarm thresholds are exceeded (in threshold version), the detector signals this optically, changes the state of the relays and sends information to the digital supervisory module (in measurement version). The device is ideal for gas detection systems, providing a quick response to potential hazards.
Functionality and application
GAZEX detectors of the DG-P/MR series are used in industrial plants, logistics centers, public utility facilities and large rooms exposed to emissions of toxic or explosive gases. Thanks to the replaceable sensor modules, the maintenance and calibration of the device are simplified, and operating costs are reduced. Replacing the module allows for quick adaptation of the detector to other measurement needs. It is worth remembering that these detectors are not intended for use in explosive atmospheres.
Key features and benefits
- RS-485 communication: Enables integration with monitoring and control systems using the MODBUS RTU protocol. This provides remote access to data and the possibility of central monitoring.
- Two alarm thresholds or measurement mode: Configuration flexibility allows you to adapt the detector to specific application requirements – both as an alarm device and as a measurement device.
- Built-in relays: Two relays with NO/NC contacts allow direct control of external devices, e.g. ventilation systems or gas shut-off.
- Replaceable sensor module: Facilitates servicing, calibration and adaptation to different types of gases – saves time and money.
- Thermal compensation: Ensures stable and accurate measurements regardless of changes in ambient temperature.
- Alarm history: Enables analysis of events and identification of potential problems in the installation.
- Semi-automatic addressing: Facilitates configuration of the detector network without the need to open the device housing.
- Screwless terminals: Simplify the assembly and connection of electrical wires.
- Configuration via DETnet View software: Allows easy setting of detector operating parameters from a computer (available on the manufacturer's website).
- Calibration in an accredited laboratory: Guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements (PCA accreditation No. AP150).
Additional information: power supply voltage 24V=, dimensions 110 x 140 x 55 mm and two cable glands facilitating the connection of subsequent detectors in a network.
