The DG-P1KL/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of flammable gases, especially simple hydrocarbons, in a controlled environment. It utilizes a proven catalytic sensor technology, ensuring precise measurement of gas concentration up to 100% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). The device is a key element of gas detection systems, finding application in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public utility facilities.

Functionality and communication

The DG-P1KL/MR detector offers wide possibilities of integration with existing monitoring systems. It has an RS485 communication interface with MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling data transmission to a central supervisory module. Two programmable NO/NC relay outputs allow direct control of alarm devices or ventilation systems in case of detecting a dangerous gas concentration. Built-in optical signaling informs about the alarm status of the detector.

Construction and service

A key advantage of the detector is the possibility of replacing the sensor module. This design significantly simplifies the maintenance and calibration process, and also reduces operating costs. The replaceable sensor module is compatible with the DG/F and DG/P series, which increases flexibility and availability of spare parts. The detector has screwless terminals, facilitating the connection of FTP cables, and two cable glands, enabling easy connection of further devices in the network. Additionally, the detector settings are configured using the dedicated "DETnet View" software.
