The DG-P1R2/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in enclosed spaces. It utilizes proven optical sensor technology (Infra-Red), ensuring high precision and reliability of measurements. The device is dedicated to working with a Digital Gas Detection System, enabling comprehensive safety monitoring in industrial, logistics and public facilities.

Functionality and application

The DG-P1R2/MR detector measures the concentration of methane in the air and, in the event of exceeding defined alarm thresholds, activates optical signaling and activates built-in relays. Alarm information is also sent to the central supervisory module via the RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol. This solution allows for a quick response in the event of a threat and minimizes potential damage.

The device finds application in:

Construction and characteristic features

It is important to remember that the DG-P1R2/MR detector is a device with a conventional construction and should not be used in places threatened by the explosion of gases, vapors or dusts. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements. The device has a 100% DGW certificate (explosive gas detection).
