Gas detectors – reliable safety in any environment
The DG-P1R5/N gas detector is a stationary, measuring detector designed to detect propane and butane (LPG) in industrial and enclosed spaces. The device signals the presence of gas at a harmful or dangerous level, ensuring the safety of people and protecting against potential hazards. Equipped with an optical sensor (Infra-Red), it offers a precise measurement of gas concentration in the range of 0-100% LEL.
Design and application
The DG-P1R5/N detector is compatible with various control modules, both from GAZEX (MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16, MDD-1, MDD-1/T, MDD-1x/T), as well as control panels from other manufacturers accepting 4-20mA input line standards. The 4-20mA analog output enables easy integration with existing monitoring and control systems. The device finds application in production halls, warehouses, boiler rooms and anywhere where there is a risk of propane-butane gas leakage.
Advantages and benefits
- Precise measurement: The optical sensor (Infra-Red) ensures accurate and reliable detection of propane-butane gas.
- Versatility: Compatibility with various control modules facilitates integration with existing systems.
- Easy installation: Modular design and simplicity of connections simplify the installation and commissioning process.
- Replaceable sensor: The ability to replace the sensor module allows for lower operating costs and extended device life.
- High quality: GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy.
- Optical signaling: Built-in optical signaling informs about exceeding the permissible gas concentration.
- Durable housing: Splash-proof housing provides protection against moisture and mechanical damage.
The device is particularly useful for installers of gas systems and people responsible for safety in industrial facilities – it allows for quick and effective implementation of a gas leak monitoring system, minimizing the risk of accidents and failures. For end-users, this means increased safety and peace of mind related to protection against potential hazards.
