Gas detector DG-P2E/M carbon monoxide, 500ppm, electrochemical sensor
Gas detectors – reliable safety in any environment
This detector is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide concentration in rooms. Its task is to monitor the air and activate an alarm signal when the permissible level of 500 ppm is exceeded. Alarm information is sent to the digital supervisory module via the RS-485 network, enabling central monitoring of the gas detection system. The device is used in industrial plants, logistics centers, public facilities, and anywhere there is a risk of toxic gas emissions.
The DG-P2E/M detector is distinguished by a replaceable sensor module, which greatly facilitates maintenance and calibration, and also reduces operating costs. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable and reliable operation of the device, and the thermal compensation system minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additionally, the detector has an alarm history, which allows for event analysis and identification of potential hazards.
The detector's design has been designed for easy installation and integration with existing systems. A splash-proof ABS housing (IP44) protects the device from moisture and mechanical damage, and two cable glands facilitate connecting subsequent detectors to the network. The ability to equip the detector with an additional cover or a duct housing expands its range of applications.
Application and functionality
The DG-P2E/M detector is compatible with the GAZEX Digital Gas Detection System, allowing for the creation of a comprehensive monitoring and alarm system. Communication is via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol, ensuring easy integration with other devices and control systems. Detector settings are configured using the dedicated "DETnet View" software.
It is worth emphasizing that all GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high accuracy and reliability of measurements. The device is powered by 24V= and is characterized by compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm).
