This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide concentration in rooms. Its task is to quickly detect dangerous levels of this gas, which is crucial for the safety of people and the proper functioning of devices. The detector uses an electrochemical sensor, which provides precise measurements in the range up to 500 ppm.

The DG-P2E/MR detector is a system device designed to work with the Digital Gas Detection System. Communication is via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling easy integration with existing monitoring and control systems. Built-in two relays with NO/NC outputs allow direct control of alarm or ventilation devices.

Application and functionality

The DG-P2E/MR detector finds application in a wide range of facilities, such as industrial plants, logistics centers, public utility facilities and large rooms threatened by carbon monoxide emissions. It is particularly useful where continuous gas concentration monitoring and rapid response to exceeding permissible norms are required.

The device has a number of functions that facilitate installation and use: screwless terminals, removable, allowing connection of two FTP cables; two cable glands facilitating the connection of subsequent detectors; the possibility of semi-automatic addressing in a digital network without the need to open the housing. In addition, the detector settings are configured using the dedicated "DETnet View" software.

Construction and parameters

The DG-P2E/MR detector is a device with dimensions of 110 x 140 x 55 mm, powered by 24V=. It has a built-in optical alarm indicator and two control relays. The device is not intended for use in areas exposed to the explosion of gases, vapors or dust – it is a detector of conventional (splash-proof) construction. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements.
