Functionality and application

The DG-P4E/N-Nstd detector is an element of a gas presence signaling system for harmful or dangerous gases. The 4-20 mA analog output allows easy integration with various control and monitoring systems, including GAZEX control modules (MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16) and addressable modules MDD-1, MDD-1/T, MDD-1x/T. The ability to cooperate with control panels from other manufacturers accepting the 4-20 mA standard provides great flexibility in choosing a solution. The device is particularly useful in applications requiring precise measurement of ammonia concentration and a quick response to exceeding permissible norms.

Construction and operation

The detector has been designed with ease of installation and long-term operation in mind. The splash-proof housing protects the device from environmental conditions. A replaceable sensor module allows for quick replacement of the measuring element without the need for calibration at the installation site – this saves time and costs. Built-in thermal and linear compensation algorithms ensure measurement accuracy even in changing conditions. Regular calibration of detectors in an authorized GAZEX Calibration Laboratory (PCA accreditation No. AP150) guarantees compliance with standards and the reliability of measurement results. The electrochemical sensor allows for detection of ammonia in the range of 0 ÷ 1000 ppm. Compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm) facilitate installation even in hard-to-reach places.
