This detector is designed for continuous monitoring of ammonia concentration in the air. The device uses an electrochemical sensor, providing high selectivity and measurement accuracy, which is particularly important in places where the presence of other gases could interfere with readings. Functionality and application

The DG-P4E2/MR-Nstd detector is an element of the GAZEX Digital Gas Detection System. The device constantly monitors the level of ammonia in the surrounding air. If defined alarm thresholds are exceeded, the detector signals this optically and using built-in relays. Alarm information can also be transmitted to a central supervisory module via the RS-485 network with the MODBUS RTU protocol. This allows for a quick response to the threat and minimization of risks to health and the environment. A replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and calibration of the device, reducing operating costs.

Construction and characteristic features

The detector has been designed with ease of installation and use in mind. It has two cable glands allowing the connection of subsequent detectors in a network. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable and reliable operation of the device, and the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. In addition, the detector has a function to remember the history of alarm states, which facilitates the analysis of the causes of failures or irregularities. 24V DC power supply ensures compatibility with most control and power systems. Configuration of settings is done using the dedicated "DETnet View" software. The device has PCA accreditation No. AP150 confirming compliance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 – which guarantees the reliability of measurements.
