Gas detector DG-P4E2/MR ammonia (selective - wastewater treatment plants), 100ppm, electrochemical sensor
Gas detectors – reliable safety in industry and beyond
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of ammonia presence in the air, finding application in wastewater treatment plants and other industrial facilities where there is a risk of gas emission. The device utilizes an electrochemical sensor, providing a precise measurement of ammonia concentration up to 100 ppm. The detector signals exceeding permissible gas concentration levels, allowing for a quick response and preventing hazards.
Detectors from the DG-P/MR series are characterized by a modular design, enabling easy replacement of sensor modules. This translates to simplified maintenance, easier calibration and reduced operating costs. The device is equipped with two relays with NO/NC contacts, which can be used to control alarm or ventilation systems. Communication is via an RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling integration with digital supervisory systems.
Application and functionality
The DG-P4E2/MR detector is ideal for industrial plants, logistics centers and public utility facilities. Thanks to its design, it can be used in large rooms threatened by the emission of toxic gases. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable and reliable operation of the device, and the thermal compensation system minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additionally, the detector has an alarm history, which facilitates event analysis and identification of potential problems.
Replaceable sensor module – simplifies maintenance and reduces operating costs.
Two alarm thresholds – allow precise adjustment to specific working conditions.
RS-485 communication with MODBUS RTU protocol – ensures easy integration with supervisory systems.
Built-in relays – allow control of external alarm or ventilation devices.
Thermal compensation system – ensures measurement accuracy regardless of ambient temperature.
Alarm history – facilitates event analysis and problem identification.
Possibility of semi-automatic addressing in a digital network without the need to open the housing - saves time during installation and configuration.
Screwless terminals - facilitate connection of wires and ensure a secure electrical connection.
The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees its high quality and measurement accuracy. It should be remembered that DG-P/MR detectors are intended for use in places not classified as zones hazardous with explosive gases, vapors or dusts – these are devices of conventional construction.
