Hydrogen Sulfide Detection – Reliable Protection and Precise Measurement
The DG-P5E/MR-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) concentration in various industrial and public utility environments. Its task is to ensure safety by early detection of dangerous gas levels, which is crucial for protecting health and life. This detector, thanks to its design and functionality, performs well in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities where there is a risk of toxic hydrogen sulfide emissions.
Functionality and Communication for Professionals
The device uses an electrochemical sensor to measure H2S concentration in a custom range, allowing precise adjustment to specific application needs. Communication is via an RS-485 port with MODBUS RTU protocol, enabling integration with monitoring and control systems. Two built-in relays with NO/NC contacts allow direct control of alarm devices or ventilation systems. The detector also has a built-in optical alarm indicator that immediately informs of exceeding permissible gas concentration levels. It is worth emphasizing that the replaceable modular sensor design facilitates maintenance and reduces operating costs – replacing a damaged or used sensor is simple and does not require specialized knowledge.
Design and Application – Solidity and Versatility
The DG-P5E/MR-Nstd detector is characterized by a solid housing construction with dimensions of 110 x 140 x 55 mm. Power is supplied from a 24V= voltage. The device is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Thanks to two cable glands, it is easy to connect subsequent detectors in a network, which facilitates the expansion of the gas detection system. Additionally, the ability to configure detector settings using the dedicated "DETnet View" software provides full control over the device's operating parameters. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high measurement accuracy and reliability of results. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation and a history of alarm states, which facilitates event analysis and identification of potential hazards.
