Refrigerant Detection – Reliable Protection and Precise Measurement
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of refrigerant presence in rooms. It utilizes an advanced optical sensor (Infra-Red), ensuring high measurement accuracy and a fast response to gas concentration changes. The device is ideal for industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities where monitoring refrigerant concentrations is crucial for safety and environmental protection.
The DG-P6R7/M detector is a component of the Digital Gas Detection System, enabling integration with other devices on the RS-485 network. This allows for centralized monitoring and management of air quality at various points within a facility. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation and device reliability, while the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement results.
Functionality and Application
The detector is designed to work with a supervisory module that receives information about gas concentration via the RS-485 network. Alarm signaling is implemented optically, allowing for quick notification when permissible levels are exceeded. A replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs.
- Refrigerant Monitoring: Precise measurement of refrigerant concentration (R32 or R410A) in the range up to 2000 ppm.
- Gas Detection System: Integration with the GAZEX Digital Gas Detection System via the RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol.
- Fast Response: Short gas permeation time through the sensor cover ensures rapid hazard detection.
- Easy Maintenance: Replaceable sensor module simplifies calibration and servicing.
- High Reliability: Built-in microprocessor and thermal compensation circuit guarantee stable operation under various conditions.
- Alarm History: Recording of alarm states facilitates analysis of failure causes and optimization of the gas detection system.
Construction and Mounting
The detector has a splash-proof housing made of high-impact ABS (IP44), providing resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. Two cable glands facilitate connecting subsequent detectors in a through-system. Removable screwless terminals allow for easy connection of FTP cables. The device is designed for surface mounting, simplifying installation and allowing for flexible placement of detectors in the controlled area. Configuration of settings is performed using the dedicated configuration software “DETnet View”.
