Gas detectors – reliable installation safety
The DG-P6R7/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of refrigerant presence in rooms. It uses an optical sensor (Infra-Red) for precise measurement of R410A or R32 gas concentration, with a range up to 2000 ppm. The device is a key element of gas detection systems, providing a quick response in case of exceeding permissible norms.
Functionality and application
The DG-P6R7/MR detector finds application in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public utility facilities where there is a risk of refrigerant leakage. Thanks to RS-485 communication with the MODBUS RTU protocol, data from the detector can be easily integrated with supervisory systems. Two built-in relays with low-voltage outputs allow direct control of alarm devices or ventilation systems. It is worth emphasizing that the detector is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Construction and characteristic features
The detector is characterized by a replaceable sensor module, which greatly facilitates maintenance and calibration of the device, reducing operating costs. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable and reliable operation, and the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additional functions, such as alarm status history and semi-automatic addressing in a digital network, increase user comfort and facilitate diagnostics. Communication is via the RS-485 port, and two cable glands facilitate connecting subsequent detectors in a network. The device has screwless terminals for FTP cables. The detector dimensions are 110 x 140 x 55 mm, and the power supply is 24V=.
All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high accuracy and reliability of measurements.
