The DG-P7E/MR gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of hydrogen presence in rooms. It is used to precisely measure gas concentration, and when defined thresholds are exceeded, it activates optical signaling and activates built-in relays. Thanks to RS-485 communication, the detector can transmit data to a central monitoring system, ensuring comprehensive control and a quick response in emergency situations. The device finds application in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities.

Construction and Functionality

The DG-P7E/MR detector uses an electrochemical sensor to measure hydrogen concentration in the range up to 1000 ppm. The replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance, calibration, and reduces operating costs. Two programmable alarm thresholds or measurement mode allow you to adapt the detector's operation to the specific needs of the installation. Built-in relays with NO/NC outputs allow you to connect acoustic signaling devices or activate other safety systems. Communication is via the RS-485 standard with the MODBUS RTU protocol, ensuring easy integration with existing automation systems.

Application and Compliance with Standards

The DG-P7E/MR detector is intended for use indoors where there is a risk of hydrogen leakage. Due to its construction, it cannot be used in areas at risk of explosion of gases, vapors or dust. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory, operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements. The detector is easy to install thanks to two cable glands allowing serial connection of subsequent devices and removable screwless terminals for FTP cables. Configuration of settings is done using the dedicated "DETnet View" software.
