Gas detectors of the DG/P series are devices designed for continuous monitoring of harmful substances in the air. The DG-P8R/N model, equipped with an optical sensor (Infra-Red), is dedicated to precise measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2). Precise CO2 measurement and wide application

The DG-P8R/N detector uses an Infra-Red sensor to measure the concentration of carbon dioxide in the range up to 5% by volume. This makes it ideal for monitoring air quality in closed rooms, where high CO2 concentrations can affect the well-being and concentration of people inside. The device is particularly useful in ventilation and air conditioning systems, where precise control of CO2 levels allows for optimization of device operation and ensuring a comfortable environment. An analog 4-20mA output enables easy integration with existing control and monitoring systems.

Construction and user features

The DG-P8R/N detector is characterized by a solid construction made of high-impact ABS/PC, providing resistance to mechanical damage. A splash-proof housing (IP44) protects the device from moisture and dust, allowing it to be mounted in harsh industrial conditions. A replaceable sensor module with thermal and linear compensation algorithms ensures long-term measurement stability and minimizes the need for calibration. Additionally, the detector has a built-in optical signaling system, informing about exceeding the permissible CO2 concentration limits. The device is powered by 24V~ and has compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm), which facilitates its installation even in limited spaces. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees their high accuracy and reliability of measurements.
