Carbon dioxide detection for safety and comfort
This advanced gas detector, equipped with an IR sensor, is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in various spaces. The device performs well both in demanding industrial conditions and in public facilities, ensuring optimal air quality and user safety. The DG-P8R8/M-Nstd detector is an element of the Digital Gas Detection System, offering reliable communication and control via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol.
Functionality and application
The detector is designed to operate in a temperature range from 0 to 45°C. Its main task is to measure the CO2 concentration, and in the event of exceeding the permissible values, it activates an optical alarm signal. Thanks to replaceable sensor modules, the maintenance and calibration of the device are simple and economical. The ability to select a sensor allows you to adapt the detector to the specific needs of a given application. The wide range of applications includes industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities – everywhere where air quality control is crucial.
Construction and user features
The device is characterized by a splash-proof housing made of high-impact ABS (IP44), which ensures its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Two cable glands facilitate the connection of subsequent detectors to the network. The built-in microprocessor guarantees stable operation and semi-automatic addressing in the digital network – without the need to open the housing. Additionally, the detector has a thermal compensation system and a history of alarm states, which facilitates event analysis and system optimization. Removable screwless terminals allow easy connection of FTP cables. Configuration of settings is done using the dedicated "DETnet View" software. All detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory, operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150).
