Application and Functionality
The DG-P8R8/N-Nstd device finds application in a wide range of facilities where CO2 level control is essential – from industrial plants, through greenhouses and mushroom farms, to offices and residential buildings. Its main task is to detect elevated levels of carbon dioxide, which can be harmful to health or affect work efficiency. The 4-20 mA analog output allows for easy integration with ventilation, air conditioning control systems, and alarm centers. This enables automatic adjustment of fresh air supply or activation of an alarm in the event of exceeding permissible limits.
Construction and Parameters
The DG-P8R8/N-Nstd detector is characterized by a solid construction and small dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm). Power is supplied from the system, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for additional power supplies. The recommended operating temperature range is 0-45°C, making it suitable for most standard indoor applications. The IR sensor provides high measurement selectivity and long-term stability. It is worth noting the possibility of calibrating the detector to order to a measurement range of up to 2% by volume of CO2 – allowing the device to be adapted to the specific needs of the user. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements.
