Oxygen gas detector – reliable monitoring and safety
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of oxygen concentration in the air, providing a quick response in case of exceeding permissible norms. The device uses an electrochemical sensor, which guarantees precise measurements and long-term, stable operation for up to 5 years. This is a key solution for ensuring safe working conditions in industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities.
Wide application and flexibility
The DG-P9E5/M detector finds application in large rooms where there is a risk of emission of toxic or explosive gases. Thanks to the possibility of communication via the RS-485 port with the MODBUS RTU protocol, the device easily integrates with the GAZEX Digital Gas Detection System, enabling central supervision and control. The replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs.
Construction and user features
The device is characterized by a solid construction and splash-proof housing (IP44), made of high-impact ABS. Two cable glands facilitate the connection of subsequent detectors to the network. The built-in microprocessor ensures reliability and stable operation, and the thermal compensation circuit minimizes the influence of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. The detector has a history of alarm states, which facilitates analysis of events and identification of potential hazards. Removable screwless terminals allow for convenient connection of FTP cables. Selective LED optical signaling clearly and understandably informs about the alarm.
Additional functionalities, such as the possibility of equipping with an additional cover (AR-1d) or a ventilation duct housing (DG/w), and a relay output module (DG-P/MR), allow for adaptation of the detector to specific application requirements. Configuration of settings is done using dedicated software „DETnet View”, available on the manufacturer's website. All detectors are calibrated in their own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory, accredited in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees their high accuracy and reliability of measurements.
