Gas detector DG-PV0E.CL2 chlorine, 10ppm, electrochemical sensor
Gas detectors – reliable protection against hazards
The measuring detectors of the DG/PV series, such as the DG-PV0E.CL2 model, are devices designed for continuous monitoring of the concentration of hazardous gases in industrial environments and enclosed spaces. Equipped with a replaceable sensor module, they provide flexibility and ease of maintenance. The DG-PV0E.CL2 detector is dedicated to detecting chlorine in a range of up to 10 ppm, using an electrochemical sensor.
Functionality and application
The device is ideal for installations requiring detectors with an active current output of 4-20mA or voltage output of 2-10V, enabling integration with various control panels and gas monitoring systems available on the market. It should be noted that DG/PV detectors are not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- Versatility: Compatibility with control panels from various manufacturers.
- Replaceable sensor: Facilitates maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs.
- Two outputs: Current (4-20mA) and voltage (2-10V) provide connection flexibility.
- Signaling: Built-in optical signaling (with two LEDs) indicates exceeding the measurement range or device problems.
- Thermal compensation: Thermal compensation circuit ensures accurate measurements even under changing environmental conditions.
- Easy gas penetration: The sensor cover design ensures a fast detector response time to the presence of gas.
Construction and additional possibilities
The DG-PV0E.CL2 detector is characterized by compact dimensions (110 x 140 x 55 mm) and a splash-proof housing (IP44 in the recommended mounting position). The possibility of equipping it with a mechanical guard AR-1d increases resistance to mechanical damage, which is particularly important in places such as warehouses, wholesale stores or parking lots. Additionally, there is an option to mount it in ventilation ducts using a special housing (DG/w option). It is also worth mentioning the possibility of exchanging sensor modules between the DG/PV and DG/P series – allowing the detector to be adapted to different measurement needs, taking into account the specific installation conditions for individual media. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in an accredited laboratory in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees their accuracy and measurement reliability.
