The DG-PV1KL gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of the concentration of flammable gases (simple hydrocarbons) in the air. It utilizes a proven catalytic sensor technology, ensuring precise and reliable measurements in the range up to 100% LEL. The device is particularly useful in industrial and enclosed spaces where there is a risk of gas leakage.

The DG-PV1KL detector offers versatile integration possibilities with control and alarm systems thanks to the built-in RS485 interface and two independent relay outputs. An active current output of 4-20mA and a voltage output of 2-10V allow easy connection to gas detection systems from various manufacturers.

Functionality and construction

The DG-PV1KL detector is designed for ease of installation and use. It has a built-in optical indicator (two LEDs) informing about exceeding the measurement range, failures and the need for calibration. Removable terminals facilitate the connection of single- and multi-strand wires, and a splash-proof sensor cover (IP44 in the recommended mounting position) protects against moisture and contamination.

The device is powered by 24V= voltage, ensuring compatibility with most standard power systems. It should be remembered that DG/PV detectors are not intended for use in areas at risk of explosion of gases, vapors or dusts – these are devices of conventional construction. Additionally, they are not compatible with MDP, MDA or MDD modules manufactured by GAZEX.

The detector uses a catalytic sensor to measure the concentration of flammable gases up to 100% LEL. It offers RS485 output signals, two relay outputs, as well as an active current output of 4-20mA and a voltage output of 2-10V. The power supply is 24V=. The detector housing has an IP54 protection class for electronic components and IP44 for the sensor cover.

GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high accuracy and reliability of measurements.
