This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane concentration in the air. It utilizes an advanced infrared (IR) sensor, which ensures high precision and reliability of measurements. The DG-PV1R5 detector is designed to work with various alarm control panels and gas detection systems, offering flexibility in integration with existing infrastructure. It has two outputs – current 4-20mA and voltage 2-10V, which facilitates connection to various control and measurement devices. An active current output (4-20mA) means that the detector emits current in the output signal, which increases resistance to interference and allows signal transmission over longer distances.

The device is not intended for use in explosive atmospheres, but it will perform well in industrial areas, warehouses, boiler rooms or other facilities where gas safety is crucial. It is worth remembering that DG/PV detectors do not work with MDP, MDA or MDD modules.
