Gas detectors – reliable protection in industrial environments
The DG/PV type measuring detectors are designed to monitor the concentrations of toxic, explosive gases or oxygen in industrial and enclosed spaces. These devices, equipped with a replaceable sensor module, are used wherever ensuring safety and atmosphere control is crucial. DG/PV detectors work with central units from various manufacturers, accepting 4-20mA or 2-10V output signals. Please note that these are devices with a standard construction and cannot be used in explosion-hazardous areas.
Functionality and flexibility
The DG-PV3R detector stands out due to the use of an IR sensor, dedicated to detecting organic compounds (100% LEL). It has an active 4-20mA current output, which facilitates integration with existing monitoring systems. Built-in optical signaling (with two LEDs) informs about exceeding permissible norms, failures, and the need for calibration. Additionally, the detector records operating time and a history of failure states. Thermal compensation ensures measurement accuracy even under variable environmental conditions.
Installation and additional possibilities
The construction of the DG-PV3R detector allows for easy penetration of gases through the sensor cover, which translates into a fast response time. Removable terminals allow connection of single- and multi-strand wires without the need for ferrules. A splash-proof housing (IP44 in the recommended mounting position) protects the device from moisture and contamination. The possibility of mounting a mechanical guard AR-1d increases resistance to mechanical damage, and the optional housing for the ventilation duct expands the range of applications. It is also worth mentioning the possibility of exchanging sensor modules between the DG/PV and DG/P series – which ensures flexibility and adaptation to specific user needs. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in an accredited laboratory in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees the reliability of measurements.
