Gas detectors DG-PV8R – reliable carbon dioxide measurement

The DG-PV8R gas detector is an advanced device designed for precise measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in industrial and enclosed spaces. It utilizes proven optical sensor technology based on infrared (IR), ensuring high accuracy and stability of readings. The device is particularly useful where control of CO2 levels is critical for safety and work comfort, e.g., in production halls, warehouses, boiler rooms, or ventilation systems.

Versatility and easy integration

The DG-PV8R detector offers two independent signal outputs – current 4-20mA and voltage 2-10V. This solution ensures full compatibility with various control panels and gas detection systems available on the market, regardless of the manufacturer. The active current output eliminates problems related to the influence of cable resistance on measurement accuracy, which is particularly important in complex installations.

Functionality and durability

The device is equipped with a number of functions that facilitate operation and ensure reliable performance. Built-in optical signaling (two LEDs) informs about exceeding permissible CO2 concentration values, failures, and the need for calibration. In addition, the detector has a thermal compensation circuit that minimizes the impact of ambient temperature changes on measurement results. A solid housing made of high-impact ABS/PC and a splash-proof sensor cover (IP44 in the recommended mounting position) guarantee resistance to harsh environmental conditions. The possibility of mounting an additional mechanical guard AR-1d increases the protection of the device in places exposed to damage.

The device is intended for use in enclosed spaces, it cannot be used in explosion-hazardous areas.
