DG/PV series measurement detectors, such as the DG-PV9E5 model, are designed for continuous monitoring of gas concentrations in industrial and enclosed spaces. This device, equipped with an electrochemical oxygen sensor, allows for precise measurement of oxygen content in the range of 0-25% by volume. Its main task is to ensure safety by early detection of dangerous gas concentrations, which is crucial for both installers responsible for the proper functioning of gas detection systems and end-users who may be exposed to hazards related to incorrect oxygen content.
Functionality and application
The DG-PV9E5 detector offers versatile integration possibilities with various gas detection systems thanks to two signal outputs: 4-20mA current (active) and 2-10V voltage. This makes the device compatible with central units from many manufacturers. Built-in optical signaling (two LEDs) informs about exceeding the measurement range or a failure. Additionally, the detector has a working time counter function and a history of failure states, which facilitates diagnostics and maintenance. Thermal compensation circuit ensures measurement accuracy even under changing environmental conditions.

Construction and characteristic features

Additionally, the possibility of equipping the detector with a mechanical guard AR-1d increases its resistance to mechanical damage, which is particularly important in places exposed to vandalism or accidental impacts. Removable terminals facilitate connection of single- and multi-core wires without the need for ferrules. The detector has been calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high accuracy and reliability of measurements.
