This autonomous gas detector combines the functions of four devices, offering a comprehensive solution for monitoring the presence of hazardous substances. The device is designed for precise detection of explosive gases, toxic gases, oxygen, and vapors of flammable liquids in technical and industrial premises. Its modular design ensures ease of use and economical operation.

Functionality and construction

The WG-1KL5.Fx detector integrates a detector with a replaceable sensor module and three alarm thresholds, a control module with relay and voltage outputs, an optical and audible signaling device, and a power supply (available in 230 V or 24 V version). Replaceable sensor modules allow the device to be adapted to specific needs and detected media. The new sensor cover provides a faster response time to gas while maintaining splash protection – the degree of protection is IP44.

• Extended interfaces: 3 relay outputs and 2 alarm outputs A1 and A2 (12 V / 100 mA) allow integration with control and alarm systems.
• Built-in event history: Facilitates analysis of alarm causes and optimization of system operation.
• Thermal compensation: Ensures measurement accuracy regardless of ambient temperature.
• Test procedure: Built-in test procedure after power-on and the ability to test externally facilitate verification of the device's correct operation without the need to remove the housing.
• Optional accessories: The possibility of mounting the AR-1d mechanical guard increases resistance to damage in harsh industrial conditions.
