Carbon Dioxide Detector – Reliable Air Quality Control
The WG-8R8.EGx/A gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in indoor environments. It utilizes an infrared (IR) sensor, ensuring precise and reliable measurement. The device is particularly useful wherever control of CO2 levels is critical for safety and comfort – from garages and parking lots, through boiler rooms, to cold storage rooms.
Precision and versatility in one device
The WG-8R8.EGx/A detector offers calibration at three levels: 1000 ppm, 1400 ppm and 1800 ppm, allowing you to adjust the sensitivity to the specific requirements of a given application. The ability to connect both a built-in and an external siren provides effective alarm signaling in the event of exceeding permissible norms. 12V power supply simplifies integration with existing systems.
- Wide application: ideal for garages, underground parking lots, boiler rooms, engine rooms, cold storage rooms and rooms with air conditioning systems.
- Precise measurement: IR sensor guarantees accurate and stable CO2 concentration readings.
- Configurable signaling: possibility to connect a built-in or external siren for effective warning of exceeding norms.
- Flexible power supply: 12V power supply simplifies integration with various systems.
- Three alarm thresholds: ability to set individual alarm thresholds for optimal adaptation to needs.
- High reliability: built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation and reading of event history without the need to interfere with the housing.
- Automatic calibration: optical signal informs about the need for calibration after 3 years (10 years for carbon dioxide).
Construction and mounting
The detector is enclosed in a solid, splash-proof housing (IP54), which ensures its durability even in harsh environmental conditions. Compact dimensions (80 x 195 x 68 mm) facilitate mounting in various locations. All terminals are removable, simplifying the connection of multi-wire cables. The device is factory calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory, operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees its accuracy and measurement reliability.
