Audio-visual alarm indicator – reliable alarm signaling

The SL-21 audio-visual alarm indicator is a device designed for effective visual and audible signaling of alarm states. It is used in alarm systems powered by 12V DC, working with control modules of the MD, MDP, MDD types and detectors of the WG and AirTECH series. Thanks to its construction, the device can be mounted both indoors and outdoors, providing visible and audible information about the threat.

Functionality and application

The SL-21 indicator is an ideal solution wherever reliable alarm signaling is required. Acoustic transducers based on piezoelectric technology guarantee a clear and loud sound, available in two intensity levels (110 dB or 103 dB) configurable via a jumper. The light source is high-efficiency LEDs emitting pulsating red light. In addition, the device has a label with a description, which facilitates identification and understanding of the type of alarm. The indicator is independently controlled – both acoustic and optical signaling can be switched on separately using three terminals.

Construction and parameters

The housing of the indicator made of durable ABS plastic provides resistance to weather conditions (IP44 protection degree), which allows for its safe use outdoors. Compact dimensions (183 x 310 x 75 mm) facilitate installation in various locations. The device is characterized by low power consumption (maximum 90 mA), which translates into energy savings. Operation in a wide temperature range (from -25°C to +60°C) guarantees reliable operation in various environmental conditions.
