This is not an ordinary sensor. It is a module that remembers what happened – the number of alarms, operating time in alarm state, and measurement range exceedances. You can replace it without dismantling the entire detector or interrupting system operation. The installer does not need to break into the wall, and the entire device does not require recalibration – simply remove this single element, calibrate it in a laboratory, or replace it with a new, pre-calibrated unit. Maintenance costs are reduced by half.

The semiconductor sensor reacts to carbon monoxide (CO) in the range of 20–1000 ppm. It features three threshold alarm levels: 20 ppm (first signal), 100 ppm (hazard state), and 200 ppm (maximum range – indicated optically only). There are no user-adjustable settings; thresholds are fixed, set during production, and comply with safety standards for enclosed spaces: garages, boiler rooms, and rooms with mechanical ventilation.

All functions operate without external power – the module draws energy from the detection system. It operates within ambient temperatures and requires no additional thermal compensation. Its housing has an IP44 protection rating – resistant to water splashes but not submersion. Installation is simple: connect to detectors DG-22/NL, DG-22L/M, DEX-22/NL, or WG-22.Fx – and you're done.

Each module has a unique processor – after replacement, you can check the operational history of the previous sensor. If there were 15 CO alarms in a month in the kitchen, this is not a coincidence. It is a signal to analyze the emission source. You can change the gas type in the facility (e.g., from CO to LPG) – simply replace the module. The entire detection system remains unchanged.

There are no RS-485 cables or analog outputs. This is a threshold-only element – it provides two binary outputs (NO/NC) that activate alarms or emergency valves. Optical signaling is built into the detector, not the module – so the module itself does not light up. However, it acts as the "memory" and "heart" of the entire system.

Dimensions: 110 x 140 x 55 mm – compatible with all GAZEX detectors from the DG and WG series. Not compatible with DEX-22/NL Ex (different dimensions). There is no battery or accumulator. It does not operate independently – only as part of a system.
