MS-25.EG Sensory Module – Replaceable, Intelligent Sensor for CO and LPG
The MS-25.EG module is not just a sensor – it is a fully functional, standalone electronic unit with a built-in processor that records operational history: number of alarms, duration of fault conditions, and measurement range exceedances. This enables the installer to analyze the conditions under which the detector operated and decide whether sensor replacement is necessary – without needing to replace the entire system.
The ability to replace the module without dismantling the detector from the installation is a key advantage. There is no need to interrupt operations at the facility or recalibrate the entire system from scratch – simply remove the damaged or obsolete module and insert a new, pre-calibrated one. This significantly reduces service costs and minimizes downtime.
The semiconductor sensor responds to carbon monoxide (CO) and propane-butane (LPG), with standard alarm thresholds of 30/60/150 ppm for CO and 5/10/15 %LEL for LPG. The measurement range covers 20 to 1000 ppm CO and 5 to 40 %LEL LPG, making the module suitable both for monitoring low concentrations in auxiliary rooms and higher levels in underground garages or production halls.
Built-in temperature compensation and CO measurement selectivity help avoid false alarms – for example, due to temperature changes or the presence of other gases. The module operates in conjunction with WG-25.EG detectors and is compatible with control systems MD-1, MDP-1 PLUS, and MDD-1.
No user calibration is required – all settings are stored in the module's memory. If conditions in the facility change (e.g., introduction of new technology), simply replace the module with one suitable for the new gas – the entire detection infrastructure remains untouched.
It operates as part of the GAZEX system compliant with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard – all modules are calibrated in the manufacturer's own laboratory.
