Gas detector DEX-73/N hydrogen (selective) 10/30% LEL, F4-C design, p-p sensor, brass housing
Hydrogen gas detector – reliable protection against explosion
The DEX-73/N gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of hydrogen concentration in enclosed spaces. Equipped with a selective semiconductor sensor, it provides a precise measurement in the range of 10-30% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). The explosion-proof design, compliant with the ATEX standard, allows for safe use in potentially explosive areas. The device signals exceeding two alarm thresholds, allowing for a quick response and minimizing risk.
Application and compatibility
The DEX-73/N detector finds wide application in places where there is a risk of hydrogen leakage, e.g. in battery rooms, laboratories, hydrogen production plants or energy infrastructure. It is compatible with various GAZEX control modules, such as MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 and MDD-1, MDD-1/T and MDD-1x/T. This allows integration with existing alarm and control systems.
Construction and user features
The detector is made of a durable brass housing (F4-C version), which ensures resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. A replaceable sensor module with thermal and linear compensation algorithms guarantees measurement accuracy and long-term reliability. The device is easy to install and operate – it does not require calibration at the installation site. Additionally, GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Accredited Calibration Laboratory according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025. This gives the user confidence in the accuracy of measurements and compliance with applicable regulations. It is worth noting the possibility of using interchangeable sensor modules with semiconductor and electrochemical sensors – this solution reduces operating costs and increases system flexibility.
