Properties and application

The wrap is made of durable fiberglass fabric, providing a reliable seal even underwater – up to a depth of 1 meter. It withstands pressure up to 20 bar and temperature up to 125°C, making it ideal for repairing water and sewage installations, swimming pools, as well as conduits with liquid fuels (oil, gasoline). The ability to paint after repair allows for aesthetic adaptation to the surroundings.

Installation and safety

Repair using the GEB wrap is simple and does not require specialized tools. However, proper surface preparation is important – cleaning and degreasing the damaged area will increase the effectiveness of the seal. For larger cracks, it is recommended to pre-fill them with GEB epoxy mastic to strengthen the structure. Remember to wind the wrap tightly with slight tension, covering at least 1 cm beyond the damaged area – especially important for pressurized pipes (minimum 6 layers recommended).
