GEBSICONE colorless sanitary silicone is a solution dedicated to the durable sealing of joints in bathrooms, kitchens, and other rooms exposed to constant contact with moisture. The product, in a 310 ml cartridge form, is based on 100% acetoxy-type silicone, which guarantees high flexibility and resistance to temperature changes ranging from -40°C to +100°C. Thanks to this, the seal does not crack or lose its properties even when exposed to hot water or sudden thermal fluctuations, which is crucial when installing heating devices or in shower zones.

Anti-fungal protection and adhesion

A key advantage of this silicone is the presence of a strong fungicide, which actively prevents the development of mold and black spots in the joints. This is not just a matter of aesthetics, but primarily hygiene – it prevents the formation of an environment conducive to bacteria in hard-to-clean areas. The product exhibits excellent adhesion to non-porous surfaces, such as:

• enamel (bathtubs, sinks),
• glass (shower cabins, mirrors),
• sanitary ceramics,
• metal and aluminum.

However, it is worth remembering the limitations: due to its acidic curing nature (it emits a vinegar smell), it should not be used on synthetic, acrylic, or composite materials, nor on natural stone (marble, granite) without a prior adhesion test. The product is also not recommended for aquariums, as the anti-fungal agents may be toxic to fish.

Application and practical installation tips

This silicone is ideal for sealing joints around washbasins, bathtubs, sinks, and laboratory benches. Its colorless shade allows for discreetly filling gaps without compromising the aesthetics of light or transparent finishing elements. To achieve a precise grout line, it is recommended to use masking tape before application and to smooth the joint after applying the material. Excess product can be easily removed with acetone or ethyl alcohol before it completely dries.

Thanks to its formula, the product ensures a durable bond that remains flexible for years, protecting the structure against leaks and degradation caused by external factors. In practice, this means that the acetoxy-type seal cures quickly upon contact with moisture from the air, which accelerates installation work, while simultaneously maintaining tightness even with the dynamic movement of sanitary elements.
