The Geberit Mapress C-Stahl axial compensator is an element of steel pipeline systems, designed to compensate for thermal expansion. Its construction allows for absorption of axial movements, minimizing stress in the installation and preventing damage. Construction and application

The compensator is made of carbon steel (1.0034 E195 according to DIN EN 10305), which ensures strength and corrosion resistance. It utilizes Mapress crimping connection technology, guaranteeing tightness and fast installation. It is designed for use in installations with cooling and heating water (with or without glycol), as well as in district heating systems with temperatures up to 120°C. It finds application in both residential and industrial construction, as well as on ships.

Technical specifications

The Geberit Mapress C-Stahl axial compensator d88,9 has a nominal diameter of DN 80 and an outer pipe diameter of 88.9 mm. The maximum working pressure is 1600 kPa (16 bar). It has a bellows made of stainless steel and a black CIIR gasket, which ensures durability and reliable operation. Thanks to a tolerance of +/- 23 mm on the compensator length, it is possible to precisely adapt it to specific installation conditions. The compensator length is 28.6 mm and the wall thickness is 11.7 mm.
