The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel axial expansion joint d54 is a component of the Mapress installation system, designed to compensate for thermal expansion in stainless steel piping. Its construction enables absorption of stresses caused by temperature fluctuations, protecting the system from damage and ensuring long-term reliability. This is especially critical in heating, cooling, and sanitary installations, where significant temperature variations occur.

This expansion joint, manufactured from high-quality stainless steel 1.4401 (DIN EN 10088), guarantees corrosion resistance and longevity even under demanding operating conditions. The use of press-fit couplings enables fast and secure installation without welding, resulting in time and labor cost savings. Design and Application

The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel axial expansion joint d54 is intended for use with pipes having a nominal diameter DN 50 (outer diameter 54 mm). Its design features a stainless steel bellows that allows absorption of axial movements in the pipeline. The seal, made of CIIR, ensures joint tightness and prevents leaks. The built-in press indicator enables visual verification of proper connection – absence of a press indicates leakage.
