Geberit Mapress C-Steel Collar – a reliable connection in steel installations

The Geberit Mapress C-Steel collar is an element of the Mapress system, designed for connecting steel pipes in water, heating and technological installations. Made of CrNiMo 1.4401 steel (EN 10088), it provides high corrosion resistance and long-lasting tightness. This particular model, with a diameter of 28 mm (DN 25) and a flange transition, allows for flexible adaptation to various installation elements. The FKM (fluororubber) gasket guarantees reliability even in difficult operating conditions.

Design and application

This collar is intended for use in a wide range of installations, including:

• Industrial installations: ideal for transporting chemicals, technical fluids, and mineral and lubricating oils.
• Heating installations: suitable for district heating systems up to a temperature of 140°C and in solar installations.
• Compressed air installations: suitable for compressed air with oil purity class 0–4.
• Shipbuilding: thanks to its high corrosion resistance, it can be used in a marine environment.
• Gas installations: compatible with industrial gases such as acetylene or shielding gases for welding.

Made of St 34.2 (1.0034) steel with a galvanized surface, this collar is characterized by high strength and resistance to mechanical damage. The use of an FKM gasket ensures a reliable connection and eliminates the risk of leaks, even with varying temperatures and pressures. Additionally, the clamping sleeve with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm and a long working part (46 mm) facilitate installation and provide a secure connection with the Mapress pipe.
