The GEBERIT Mapress Edelstahl pipe with an outer diameter of 35 mm and a commercial length of 6 m is an element of the precision CrMoTi stainless steel pipe system, grade 1.4521, designed for professional potable water, central heating, and cooling and technical systems. The product is not approved for use in gas installations.

CrMoTi steel (compliant with EN 10088) is characterized by enhanced corrosion resistance, allowing for safe use in contact with potable water - both cold and hot. The pipe with a wall thickness of 1,5 mm achieves a nominal internal diameter of DN 32 (32 mm), and its smooth internal surface with a roughness of only 1,5 µm ensures optimal medium flow conditions and minimizes the risk of scale buildup or other contaminants.

Construction and physical properties

The pipe is supplied in the form of a rod with a commercial length of 6 m, with smooth ends allowing for processing - cutting and preparation for press connections. Both ends are protected by green protective caps, which protect the interior of the conduit from contamination during transport and storage.

The pipe is fully compatible with the GEBERIT Mapress Edelstahl system - dedicated press fittings, cutting and deburring tools, and mounting accessories from the same manufacturer. Belonging to a single system eliminates the risk of material incompatibility and simplifies procurement logistics for the contractor.

The product is free from LABS substances (substances that hinder lubrication), which is important during the pressing process - tools and seals operate without disruption.

For pipe processing, the use of dedicated GEBERIT Mapress tools is recommended: a precision pipe cutter or an electric reamer to ensure a clean, perpendicular cut and correct deburring of the end before the press connection.

Applications and operating conditions

Due to the pressure-temperature parameters and the corrosion properties of 1.4521 steel, the pipe is suitable for:

• potable water installations - cold and hot,
• central heating - boiler rooms, manifolds, risers,
• cooling and air conditioning systems,
• technical installations - industrial and commercial.

The pipe is not intended for transporting gaseous media - for gas, appropriate GEBERIT Mapress system elements with gas approval must be selected.

An absolute roughness coefficient of k = 0,0015 mm guarantees low flow resistance throughout the entire service life of the installation.
