Installation branches in the pressfitting system

The Tee from the Geberit Mapress Edelstahl series enables efficient creation of branches in pipe lines - one branch has a diameter of 22 mm, the other two are 35 mm. The branching angle is 90°, allowing for installation routing at right angles without additional elbows.

All three connections are made using press sleeve technology with an M profile, which means compatibility with widely used press jaws on the market. The working length of the main branches is 24 mm (at a diameter of 35 mm), while for the smaller branch it is 29 mm. The total length of each connection is 50 mm, ensuring stable seating in the pipe.

Material and resistance

The body is made of 316 grade stainless steel (1.4401) - an austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy with increased resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. This is essential in installations exposed to contact with moisture or aggressive media.

Each connection is factory-equipped with a CIIR seal (chlorobutadiene rubber), which ensures tightness with just one press - without the need for welding or threading. The product is supplied factory-capped.

The maximum working pressure at 20°C is 16 bar, and the design is characterized by high tensile strength. Wall thicknesses are matched to the diameters: at the 35 mm connection they are 1.5 mm, and at 22 mm - 1.2 mm.

This Tee belongs to the Geberit Mapress Edelstahl system - a complete family of pressfitting fittings and pipes designed for:

• water installations (cold and hot domestic water),

The system includes a full range of dimensions from 15 to 108 mm, allowing for the design of installations from service connections to main manifolds. Mapress Edelstahl fittings are installed using press tools - the process is fast and does not require open flames or welding, which eliminates the risk of fire on the construction site.
