System elbow for piping installations

The Geberit Mapress Edelstahl elbow with a 90° angle and 54 mm diameter enables the creation of corner connections in piping installations. Equipped with two types of connections - a push-on connection and a press sleeve - it allows for flexible adaptation to various conduit configurations. The product is made of 316 (1.4401) grade stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance in domestic, industrial, and marine environments.

Material and construction

The elbow body is made of Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steel, resistant to chemical agents present in drinking water and industrial environments. The wall thickness at both ends is 1.5 mm, and the working pressure reaches 16 bar (at 20°C) - sufficient for domestic and industrial installations. The factory-installed seal made of chlorobutadiene rubber (CIIR) ensures a leak-proof connection after pressing.

The M type pressing jaws system enables rapid installation using standard Mapress tools. The working length of the push-on connection is 108 mm, and the press sleeve is 65 mm, guaranteeing stable pipe seating in the fitting.

Applications

The elbow operates with:

• cold and hot service water,
• cooling and heating water (including antifreeze),
• compressed air (oil cleanliness class 0-3),
• vacuum.

Installation should be carried out by authorized installation companies, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable industry regulations.
