Construction and application

The MAGNA3 pump is available in single and double versions, both with flanged and threaded connections. The version with flanged connections is described as basic in the installation manual, however, the manual also covers the specifics of threaded versions. The pump set includes gaskets and a quick start guide. In the case of double pumps, two ALPHA plugs and M20 cable glands are also supplied. The pump is intended for circulation of water or water-glycol mixture in closed systems. It can be used in installations with heat exchangers (fan coil units), chilled ceilings and cooling surfaces.

It is important to maintain the tolerance of the mains voltage and avoid supplying the pump with voltages different from those specified on the nameplate. It is also important to ensure adequate cooling of the control box by placing it horizontally with the Grundfos logo facing vertically.
