Magna1 pump is an electronic circulation pump designed for operation in simple heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water circulation systems. It is an economical alternative to the MAGNA3 pump, offering high energy efficiency and easy integration with building management systems. It will work well in both domestic and commercial installations.

Design and application

The Magna1 pump is characterized by a solid construction – the housing is made of cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The impeller made of a material other than stainless steel (detailed composition unknown) provides adequate performance. Designed to operate at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40°C and medium temperatures from -10 to 110°C, making it a versatile solution for various applications. The connection length of 450 mm facilitates installation in existing systems. Flanged connections with a nominal diameter of "Other" (see technical specifications for exact dimensions) and a pressure class of PN 10 ensure tight and safe connections.

Performance and functionality

The Magna1 pump offers a nominal flow rate (BEP) of 38.29 m³/h and a head at nominal flow rate (BEP) of 92.65 kPa (corresponding to approximately 9.26 meters of water column). The maximum head is 12 meters, and the maximum flow rate is also 38.29 m³/h. The motor with a power of 1.523 kW draws a rated current of 6.73 A at a voltage of 230 V and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The built-in speed controller allows smooth adjustment of the rotational speed, adapting the pump's performance to the current needs of the heating or cooling system – which translates into energy savings. The energy efficiency index (EEI) of 0.2 confirms the high energy efficiency of the device. Additionally, the pump is equipped with a potential-free switching contact, which allows monitoring of the pump's operating status and remote start/stop via a digital signal. Protection class IPX4 provides protection against splashing water.
