Circulation pump for heating and hot water systems

The Magna1 32-60 F circulation pump is an electronic pump designed for use in simple heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water circulation systems. It is an economical alternative to the MAGNA3 pump, while offering high energy efficiency and easy integration with building management systems. It is a solid solution for both new installations and for replacing older circulation pumps.

Design and application

The pump is designed for reliability and ease of use. Made of cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), it provides durability and corrosion resistance. Thanks to the built-in motor speed controller, the pump speed is continuously adjustable, allowing for optimization of energy consumption and adaptation to the current needs of the system. It is designed to work with water temperatures from -10 to 110°C. It finds application in:

• Heating – as a main pump, in mixing loops and in surface heating systems.
• Cooling – in air conditioning systems, geothermal heat pumps and smaller chiller applications.
• Circulation of domestic hot water (in stainless steel version).

Functions and advantages

• High energy efficiency: Compliance with EuP 2015 regulations translates into real electricity savings. The energy efficiency index (EEI) is 0.23.
• Dual pump function: In two-headed versions, this function ensures continuous system operation by automatically switching to the second pump in the event of a failure of the first. Two pumps work together with a lower load, and in the event of a failure, the working pump takes over the entire flow.
• Operating status monitoring: The built-in fault relay enables continuous monitoring of the pump status, providing peace of mind and a quick response in case of problems.
• Remote control: A digital start/stop input allows for remote starting and stopping of the pump, making it easier to integrate with building automation systems.
• Simple operation: An intuitive user interface makes configuration and monitoring of the pump operation easier.
• Maintenance-free design: No maintenance required thanks to the use of a closed impeller.
• Solid construction: The cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250) housing guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.
• Wide range of parameters: The maximum head is 6 meters, and the nominal flow rate is 4.41 m³/h at a head of 45.9 kPa. The motor power consumption (P1) is 0.111 kW at a rated current of 0.9 A and a voltage of 230 V / 50/60 Hz. The IPX4 protection class provides resistance to splashing water.
