Adjustable RCD block for P630 4P 400A Idn HBW400H
Residual current protective block for breaker P630, 4P, 400 A with adjustable trip current
This solution is intended for installation in distribution panels equipped with P630 power breakers. It functions as an additional protective module that integrates with the existing construction — no replacement of the whole device is required. The rated current of 400 A allows its use in industrial and commercial installations where loads are high and power stability is critical.
Adjustable residual current (0.1 … 10 A) provides flexibility in selecting sensitivity — it can be matched to the nature of the load, e.g., to avoid false trips on equipment with high inrush current. A time delay of up to 3000 ms ensures selectivity in multi‑level circuits — it will not trip on short, non‑dangerous leakages that do not require power disconnection.
Protection against unwanted tripping operates at the mechanism level — it blocks accidental release caused by vibration or mechanical impact. Additionally, a physical lock prevents unauthorized disconnection or modification of settings.
High resistance to short‑circuit current (3 kA) and impulse voltage (6 kV) makes the block resistant to surges and network impulses — especially important in locations with poor network quality or near sources of interference. IP40 protection rating safeguards against solid objects larger than 1 mm — sufficient for installations in distribution cabinets.
It operates over a wide temperature range: from –25 °C to +70 °C — suitable for both heated and unheated spaces (e.g., warehouses, production halls). Compatible with pollution degree 3 — meaning it can be mounted in environments with moderate dust or humidity.
Type A sensitivity provides effective protection against alternating residual currents and pulsating DC currents — ideal for modern equipment with converters (e.g., drives, EV chargers, LED lighting). Operating voltage 220–415 V and frequency 50/60 Hz cover most standard three‑phase systems.
Installation is simple — it integrates directly with the P630 busbar without additional wiring or tools. No calibration is required after installation. For the installer it saves time; for the user it guarantees operation without intervention.
